6-8-26 Coco neglected cat

This may be one of the worse neglect cases we’ve ever had… We’ve named this sweet girl Coco and she is fighting for her life as we speak. 💔The critical care doctor just called with an update. We still don’t have an obvious cause of whats going on but here’s what we do know… ➡️She’s friendly and clearly was owned at some point. She was found in a very residential area in New Britain. She is severely emaciated at just 3.9lbs. She is moderately anemic, her electrolytes are off, her white cells are high, her blood pressure/temp/heart rate are low, her blood volume is low and her kidneys are struggling. Her abdominal ultrasound didn’t show anything obvious. And she’s not interested in food at the moment. This could be multiple issues or just from pure starvation. 😡The plan today: Aggressive fluid therapy, antibiotics, blood pressure support and trying to get her to eat.Potentials for next few days: Recheck bloodwork, check thyroid and run infectious disease panel (if she has enough blood to do so). Could need blood transfusion. Could need long term feeding tube. And the big one, she may not pull through.We’ll do what we can but we need everyone’s support! We’ve raised just under $1000 and this could easily reach $5k or more.

Hello. I am seeking help. A year and a half ago you helped me when I really needed it. I don't know if you saved the above messages when you helped me in January 2025. I take care of over 20 stray and feral cats in Alaska. Alaska is so hard on strays and feral. You let me make a post on your site with an Amazon wishlist for cat food. I socialize the cats that I can and find homes for them. I provide food and shelter for them and take care of medical all on my own. I am a semi retired senior on a fixed income. Trap Neuter and Return is illegal in Alaska but people do it on their own. If a feral is trapped and taken to animal control they are instantly euthanized. Strays get 3 days before euthanasia. It's really hard on them just making it through the winter. I've socialized many and have found homes for them. I just had to euthanize one that I was socializing because of advanced fiv. So I am real low on wet cat food and a few other supplies. I have enough dry food. Would you let me make a post again just for food and some supplies? I also have a bad case of ringworm myself from treating my cats for it and need ointment. I can put pictures in my post and explain what I do. It really saved me last time. You sent me food throughout Walmart and people looked at my wishlist and sent items. Thank you very much. Keith Hamilton

Good morning all! We hate to ask after receiving donations for our vet bills but the kittens are out if wet kitten food! Aside from the 4 Garden kittens and the lone black kitten, feeder trapped 2 more siblings of the black kitten. I was so worried about the 5th Garden kitten as Pam & Shaheedah hadn't seen hide nor hair of her. I trapped mom Tuesday and she was spayed Wednesday! I released her Thursday as I knew if her kitten was still around mom would find her! Sure enough, while leaving the garden, I looked to my right and saw mom cleaning herself, as I looked closer, I saw the 5th kitten suckling on her mommy! Furbabies are so damn smart. Mom most likely told her "Do not leave this spot I hid you in, do not open doors for anyone til I return!" "Those hoomans took my other 4 but they wont get you!" I will go back Tuesday to get the 2 juvies from her first litter and dear Ole dad and try for the houdini kitten! If you can donate some kitten food please visit our website misspatscats.org! 6-22-26 Dogs need food, haven't eaten in days

Thank you so much for being willing to help. They have not eaten in 4 days now. thank you so much and God bless anything is a huge help I have 14 dogs because people dump them off and on the only house on the street and I'm not going to leave them out to starve and I am on disability and I struggle to maintain and feed them I have reached out to rescues in my area and all of them are full and now with the flooding here in Mississippi they've had to take in more even though they are full that's on emergency basis so there is definitely no chance in getting mine in anytime soon. Any help is appreciated

So thankful for all the ppl reached out to me how to help Mae. Right now she needs time for her skin to heal. She was at the vet on Monday and ever since her medicated bath she has been improving day by day. To help her continue the only thkng we need right now is her special diet food.
