Hey guys I'm in need of some cat food. I care for a colony of 10 cats in Charleston WV and we are down to half a bag left.I've TNR most of my colony so far ( all my girls are fixed thank goodness) and it's been a process. Each one has cost more than I expected to pay but if they need antibiotics, dewormer, and other stuff I'm not going to say no. But with that and some unexpected medical issues it's cut me short on money unfortunately.

During the recent storm — one some say surpassed the Blizzard of ’78 — a local ironworker stepped up when a cat was stranded high in a tree.Pixie had climbed up during the storm and was unable to get down. While others were unable or unwilling to attempt the rescue, Matt Lyons didn’t hesitate. He climbed the tree and safely brought Pixie back to the ground.Now, community members have launched a fundraiser — not for hardship or emergency expenses — but simply as a way to say thank you.Organizers say the goal is to show appreciation for someone who didn’t ask for recognition but showed up when it mattered.All funds will go directly to Matt.

🚨🐾 Friends… we need your help. 🐾🚨 One of our rural South Carolina partner shelters is in a tough spot right now… their shelves are bare. In just 4 days, 20 new animals arrived. Every single day, 150+ pets rely on them for food, clean kennels, warmth, and comfort. And with puppy season beginning, more are coming. These shelters do incredible work with very little resources but enormous hearts. ❤️
We have a transport heading their way in the coming weeks, and we would LOVE to send that van back filled with supplies, support, and love from our Freedom First community.

3-12-26 Black White cat needs vet asap

Homeless Pet Placement League is asking for donations.
New intake! This poor kitty was found by a kind Amazon delivery driver on her route. She took her home and posted for help. The kitty is now safe with us and will be going to The Feline Medical Center shortly! She (we think it's a she based on the brief time she let us look at her booty) is severely matted, underweight, has several cracked teeth and of course smells and looks like she's been living in a dumpster. Sweet cat though! We will do our best to get her all fixed up!

3-15-26 Chato - blocked kitty

A Voice for All Paws is asking for donations.
We have a sweet Persian mix kitty at the emergency vet right now fighting for his life - he has almost a complete urinary blockage and needs to be hospitalized or he will die. We are attaching the quote for 2 to 3 day hospitalization, this does not include surgery. Our medical coordinator is at the ER with him right now and we are light on details. Here is what we do know: an amazing independent rescuer has been taking care of him for a month after he was dumped on her by a family member. She thought he was constipated and asked for our help today, we quickly realized he actually had a blockage and rushed to urgent care. Please help us save this sweet boy!

3-16-26 Stray cat need dental ASAP

Shirley's Angels Animal Rescue is asking for donations.
We had a message from someone we have helped in Hampshire co several times over the years with stray cats. This picture is of one of the stray cats that had showed up at their home. This cats in a lot of pain and needs to have her mouth addressed asap. We have set her up to see our vet at 2 pm today but we need your help to raise the funds quickly. We estimate this initial cost will be about $150 to have her seen and get some antibiotics and pain meds on board and come up with a plan. Can you help us help Toby and her good Samaritan?

3-17-26 Creamsicle - paralyzed kitten

The Junction Cat Rescue is feeling worried.
‼️‼️ EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP ‼️‼️As I type this, I am at Penn medical at 11pm in Allentown. One of the kittens we just in took days ago (we just named her baby Creamsicle) cannot use her front or back legs but is FULLY alert. She was found laying unable to move her legs at all but alert & no other obvious signs of anything wrong. She cannot stand, sit, nothing!
Prior to coming to us, her finder noticed she had a little bit of a funny walk. She was taken to the vet and at first they thought "ataxia" but then chalked it up to a possible fall off a cat tree etc. Soon after she was fine back to running & playing! Days later.. She came to us here at JCR.
Aside from a tiny bit of a yucky eye that we cleaned & treated, there were no other issues! She was a bit spicy 🌶 but fine! There was NOTHING out of the ordinary! Now today.. This today happened & everyone is baffled!! Her brother is fine, even got him to purr today!! 🥹Guys.. I'd be lying if I said I'm not VERY worried here. 😭😭 We're unsure if neurological or something else. Her bladder was full so they had to express it for her because of the paralysis. We're doing blood work FIRST to see if we can find the answer there.We're going step by step. I did NOT sign a DNR, I never do. I wanna give this little girl a chance first!!! If no answer in blood, then xrays or whatever they feel is needed next.This is the FIRST kitten intake of the season & I don't want to end up wiping out our funds. 🙏Below is just an estimate if we do everything. It was $165 to walk in the door, blood work, snap test, and anything after that etc. I don't have a balance yet but it will be expensive! The full final bill will be posted!!! CAT & KITTEN Fostering & Adoption Network of NJ

Diane has been quietly taking care of our community’s stray cats for over 10 years. She’s been feeding them, getting them spayed and neutered through TNR, and even opening her home to those who had nowhere else to go. So many animals are safe today because of her.
This past year has been incredibly hard for her. She lost her husband and has been dealing with personal challenges, but she’s still showing up every day to care for these animals.
Right now, she’s caring for 10+ cats daily, and several of her own cats have developed health issues. The vet bills have been overwhelming. Pictured is one of her cats, RJ, who is currently receiving expensive treatments that Diane has consistently been paying for on her own.
With everything going on, even basic supplies like food and litter have become a strain. The stress is starting to affect her health, and she truly needs support. This would relieve a huge burden for her.
