We hate making these posts. We desperately need adult canned and dry food. Three weeks ago we raised just $212 to cover our $1800 vet bill. Wednesday we paid another $1900 towards our vet bill for our TNR and our Panleuk kittens along with almost $300 to Redbank for our kittens. We’ve taken on another feral colony site several days a week on top of the 10 colonies we feed every day in addition to our fosters. Our shelves are bare and our account is depleted from all of our medical expenses. Please help us to continue to feed those that so desperately depend on us.

To all my Facebook animal friends I want to thank all you who have donated food and funds in the past so I can continue to be able to feed these (108) cats every day. I go through 26 lbs of dry food and 24 cans of wet food daily and I am just about out of food. I do not want these cats to go hungry I live off a very busy road and I don't want them to have to go looking for food. I also have ducks that I do not want to feed but I have no choice. I am 83 will be 84 come November 15th and a veteran and on a very fixed income so I need your help. Please if you can donate that would be greatly appreciated. 9-13-25 2 cats dumped need vet care

Good morning friends..last evening these two abandoned souls were trapped and given a chance for survival as they are not far from death. They have been on the streets for a month trying to survive on their own. They are emaciated, flea ridden, have hair loss, are filthy and are STARVING. THIS CRUELTY NEEDS TO STOP. When I got them home after work last night, they got fluids, pyrantal, capstar and another small meal. They will be heading to Trucksville Animal Hospital this morning to get the care they need and can hopefully recover from this abuse...Their medical expenses will not be cheap, I am pleading for your help, they need our village to save them. Thanks to their earth angels, Michelle for sounding the alarm, feeding them and getting help. Annette for dropping what she was doing and going over to trap them, myself and the kitties are forever grateful for you both.Thank you in advance to our amazing supporters for helping these two beautiful souls.

9-18-25 Hoarder house needs help
Baby Jack's Rescue: I have literally given up on all humanity....I received a text message this morning from a good friend of mine. She messaged me after she found out and a horrible smell coming from the home. 7 cats were abandoned when the house was condemned. The information I was given the house was shut down June 30th. They came and took the dogs but left the cats. While i know who this is. I wont place her name on here because we plan on going after her for cruelty, neglect and abandonment charges. These babies, will need medical, snap tested, spay/neuter, vaccines, flea treatments, food and litter The snap test will run us about $60 a box is hugely important.Flea treatment about $50 each Spays are $88 each.

9-22-25 Baby GIrl, kitten attacked by a dog
I’m needing help getting this kitten to the vet I just witnessed a dog attacking her when I got home from work. I’m calling my vet first thing in the morning and filing a police report because the owner is refusing to help with any of the cost and I saw the dog in my yard with it in its mouth

9-25-25 Shadow, tail broken
Blue's Mews Cat Rescue is asking for donations. Urgent plea - Shadow’s tail is literally falling off!!!
Remember Shadow? We delayed on an update because it looked like we had time to leisurely schedule surgeries and get estimates etc. But things went south, and she is getting an urgent tail amputation tomorrow at Urbana. Possibly a leg amputation also, if she is stable enough for it.
As you can tell in the x-rays, Shadow has a badly broken tail and a broken hip. We had hoped to wait until she was older for surgery on both - she is barely one pound! We knew there was a risk that the circulation to the tail was cut off due to the injury, and her foster had been monitoring Shadow's tail (which was cold) and Shadow's temperature from day one. Today she saw that the skin at the break had opened up and Shadow's temperature was rising. The tail is dead, and literally has started to fall off. Again, we need your support! Please help Shadow!
