2-5-24 Rudy - kitten needs ER
Emergency donations needed!! 🚨We were on our scheduled pick up of two Whitman colony kitties when we came across this kitten in need. He seems to be around 2 months old and is a little roughed up. He is skinny and stinks! He’s being hospitalized for the night. His sugar is 40 which is extremely low. Rudy was transferred to VSEC this morning. Unfortunately he’s really struggling with his blood sugar and they are considering transfusion to give him a bump. Despite feeling horrible, he’s active, eating and acting like a kitten 🥹 His invoice from last night was around $1600 and estimate for today is $2000. We really need to raise the money to help him. We are so overwhelmed with prior bills at this point 😞 with prior bills at this point 😞

2-17-24 Marble - very ill cat with pneumonia
Marble needs urgent 😢 funds $$$$. Currently hospitalized in the oxygen chamber with pneumonia and an unknown virus... bacteria. Last night, we received a desperate message from someone we don't even know asking for help become Marble was dying 😢 slowly. We knew that something had to be done quickly or she would die. We took responsibility, and she was transported at the emergency clinic. She's been in an oxygen chamber since last night. She is critical but stable at this point. 3 days ago, she ran out of her home and disappeared for 4 days 😢. She came back 💔 very sick and not being herself until she completely collapsed. Her owners are struggling financially and could not afford critical medical care. The estimated cost is 3000$$ to 5000 for hospitalization 🏥 and diagnostics. Please help Marble 🙏 by donating towards her life-threatening condition . Just think 🤔 that you can be in a similar situation and you need help with your loving cat 🐈 and no one is there to help you. 2-18-24 Cat cages needed
Today, we brought Philip and Levi to their new barn home. We had them for a few months in our care and they made it clear they do not appreciate humans. We are happy they got a good barn where they'll receive daily meals, a warm shelter, and the freedom to lounge in the grass under the sun. In a few weeks they will be released from their crates and that will be in just in time for Spring

2-22-24 Sick cats
2 DIFFERENT FAMILIES NEEDING HELP We’re sorry we have to post but we aren’t in a position to just handle these. a cat we put with a foster while the elderly man is recovering from surgery and is in rehab for months. We’ve helped him with food as he lost his job when his company downsized. We believe he may be experiencing an allergic reaction due to his symptoms and need to have him seen. a message we received from a lady we helped who lived at the housing project that’s shutting down. She took a number of cats with her and we help with food monthly. She has 2 sick cats and we don’t have meds or fluids left.We are estimating around $400 but it could easily be more.If you can please help us get them to a vet:

2-23-24 Two detached retinas
Update: 2/22/24: This baby has been further diagnosed with detached retinas in both eyes, high blood pressure, and hyperthyroidism. She is scheduled to see an ophthalmologist tomorrow on an emergency basis. I am very worried about her. Please donate to help save her eyesight. She is fighting hard to get better.
Update: 2/21/24: This angel goes back to the vet tomorrow. Still congested and shaking her head from the polyps and ear infection.
Update: 2/13/24: This baby is on her 3rd round of antibiotics. Still congested but breathing better. Baby steps for her.
This little lap cat has a nasty upper respiratory infection, ulcers in her eyes, and polyps in her infected ears. She is congested, her breathing is labored, and her balance is poor. She is being treated with antibiotics and is scheduled for bloodwork and x-rays next week. Donations for her ongoing medical care are appreciated.

2-29-24 Phil - needs baby food
This is Phil on payroll helping his foster Mom work.Phil was on his way to be euthanized when we got the call. His previous vet couldn’t find a diagnosis and recommended euthanasia. Phil had a rough start in life. He’s only 4yrs old, already lost his first owner and then lost his brother because they weren’t kept together and his brother was adopted. FYI-Phil’s tongue is out because he has no teeth. He had to have a full mouth extraction. Phil has neurological issues but is very affectionate.
He has some difficulty eating except baby food. Phil eats 4-6 jars of baby food every day mixed with 2 cans of pate 🙀 Between the hundreds of homeless cats we feed and 70 foster cats, Phil’s needs are hard on us financially. Below is our amazon wish list if you can sponsor some baby food for Phil. It would be very appreciated!! We are also in need of Fancy Feast savory centers (on the list) for some of our recently pulled seniors waiting for dental surgeries.
