7-3-21  Another cat colony in need of help

Out of food for my Colonies! I'm stressed.. After paying all my monthly expenses, all my money goes on feeding these precious angels. There are so many. I just can't let them down. Please share for donations, even a dollar, or a share is greatly appreciated.  I feed over 80 cats in several cat colonies, and I am going through a hardship. Due to Covid 19. Every month is a struggle to feed so many. They are all TNR, and very well taken care of. I would like to know if I could kindly receive any help. I am very grateful for anything help. Thank you kindly.

7-5-21  Marzipan  -  tiny kitten needs ER

My name is Marzipan because I’m the sweetest and softest boy! I’m currently receiving 24 emergency care in an incubator with fluids and a nebulizer for the past couple days. The vets are running tests and doing everything they can to save me. The vet also estimated I might need a blood transfusion; I’m fighting so hard to make it through the pain. If I had been found any later; I wouldn’t be alive to see the beauty in life or play in the sun. I wouldn’t have made it through the night.I’m crossing my paws that I’ll be healthy and happy in no time! Every cat deserves love and kindness. You’d be changing my life by donating; please.I’ve been living on the streets my whole life until someone found me outside of their work around 1:30AM Thursday the 1st of July! I was suffering so much. I could barely move and couldn’t even muster up a meow. My ribs are poking out of my sides and I don’t have enough strength to stand up and eat or use the litter box on my own. I’m so thankful I was found in time and rushed to safety! I was absolutely covered in fleas, really big ones too! It took hours to remove them all. Because of all those nasty fleas I’m anemic and dangerously underweight. I also have an unknown infection on my back paws and there’s a chance I have parasites in my skinny little tummy. But…I won’t give up hope! I’ll live because I’m so loved and, hopefully, I have lots of friends all over the world who can donate to save me! Please help if you can… You’ll save my life. ꨄ

7-8-21 Digit - kitten needs surgery

❤️My sweet little Digit has an intussusception and possible perineal hernia. What this means is that his intestines have literally folded up on themselves, kind of like a prolapse but internally. This can cause many problems- It is causing many problems. I pulled Digit from the pound because he's a black kitten, no one else was able to and he had poop problems so for real nobody else was able to. Turns out he's been straining with diarrhea for so long this is the result. And yes we used every trick in the book every medication we could to help him But now he has this. He leaks little drops of poop constantly throughout the entire day yet he cannot actually poop. He is severely backed up and uncomfortable, but he is eating playing and snuggles with the best purrs a kitty can give 😊 So here's the thing the If he does have a hernia that can be fixed the intussusception can be fixed although we are hoping that no circulation has been cut off causing necrotic tissue in his intestines or things get a little trickier. This baby is not sickly. He is not laying down refusing to eat and dying But without this surgery he will not make it. He has a physical problem that can be fixed it's just a little trickier than other surgeries so we have to find a vet that was experienced with this. The cost of the surgery right now we're looking between $500 and $700. Help is always needed especially now, within the next few weeks I have 12 kitties going in to be spayed and neutered and frosty going in for an amputation, & still supporting about 20 kittens till they are big enough to be adopted or transported. (And Cynder and all her babies will be starting vetting 😊). I appreciate everyone that helps me so much I could not do this without all of you, YOU GUYS ARE MY TEAM! The last few months have been crazy and Lord knows the kitty gods are not holding back the flood.

7-13-21  Cat colon in Schnecksville

Got a message this morning that our colony in Schnecksville is low on food again. This is the elderly lady we have been helping for years. There is about 50 cats there, but thankfully all spayed/neutered. She has been feeding dry all this time but has finally agreed to feed wet!!!!  As we all know, wet is best especially for outdoor cats who don't get any vet care beyond tnr. I always worry about the males so I am very happy she has agreed to canned food.

7-26-21 Genos - disabled mans dog needs vet care ASAP

I’m writing this email in desperation. My dog’s name is Genos (pronounced Jhin-Os similar to generation). Last week Genos began having issues with a spot on his left hind. He began chewing at this mildly. However, overnight he had chewed it raw and bloody. Since then this issue has progressed. He is now lethargic and unable to be alone or without a cone due to desire to chew at the area. He has vomited all of his food given today. Personally I am a 27 year old man in financial distress due to medical issues of my own. The main medical issue I deal with is Crohn’s disease. During 2019 I was hospitalized for over 7 months and received 4 emergency surgeries. Currently I am attempting to recuperate while also in the application process for SSDI. I have no financial means to pay for Genos’ treatment.I consider Genos to be my son. He has been with me for 7 years. I adopted him with the intention of having a hiking partner but our relationship has evolved to something far greater. He has been with me through very serious personal hardship and pain. I don’t know how to express the severity of loss I’ll experience if these current medical issues become mortal/fatal. He is a registered and trained service animal who assists with my PTSD and comforts me in times of severe physical pain.
