Taking Storm to Rock Road Animal hospital. He has a urinary blockage. I hate asking but after my car repairs and no money, I need help. If anyone can call in donations once I get there, they won't take call-ins unless he is checked in first anyways. I will update post once I get an estimate.  **UPDATE**  he is blocked. They have to keep him and put a catheter in him to flush him out😥 they will keep him in the hospital on fluids and antibiotics for 3 days

9-1-20  Winnie - Starved/lost kitty

Hi everyone. My friends lost their sweet girl Winnie 7 weeks ago while moving. She was found underneath their old buildings elevator shaft yesterday by a maintenance man with only hours left to live. Since my friends posted so many posters, everyone in the building was able to recognize who the owners were. Below is a video they took. (I do not not know how to share it here, but it is very very sad. ). She’s hanging on for her life in the ICU. My dear friends are not in the best financial situation. The bill is already up to 3k, and rising. If you could donate even the smallest bit would help them and poor Winnie immensely. If you can’t donate even a dollar, please send them your prayers. Thank you for this page, your love for cats, and willingness to help a stranger. ❤️

**We do not normally post GoFundMe's, however, donations sent directly to the vets office are only done via their web-site and it is very complicated. TDC did send $100 so far via that web-page. BUT if anyone wishes to donate via the GoFundMe, I did verify everything with the vet and the kitty is indeed there, very ill and in need of donations. So I would say it is ok to donate with the GoFundMe, or through us and we can forward through the web-site.

9-3-20  Sick Stray kitty

I was wondering if there are any rescues available to help this cat. She’s in pretty bad shape. Her eyes are dilated and her nose is swollen. I don’t know where she came from. I’ve been giving her food and water for a while, but she needs vet care that I am unable to provide. She seems to be young and is friendly. I hate to see her suffering 😢. Located in Moreno Valley

Cindy Mills-Lopez:  UPDATE: 9/3/2020 10:45 am. Kitty has been picked up by Kristen Gull and is on her way to Beach Garfield Vet Hospital in Huntington Beach (714)847 2519, ask for Jayne.  Thank you for all the shares, and thank you Eila Redshaw, for setting everything up. 9-4-20  Sandy  -  kitty with broken jaw

Hi, I was referred to you through another animal site. I am in desperate need of help in getting funds for my kittens surgery. She was bit in the face by a dog and her upper jaw was broken. The vet I took her to referred me to Animal Dental Center in Annapolis MD, so they have all info on my case. I have been laid off from work since March 15th due to covid, so I am living off of very little money right now. If you could please help me I would greatly appreciate it! I have set up a go fund me as well, but I’m worried that it will not fund the surgery in time. I can attach pictures, but they are graphic, so please let me know if you want me to send them. Thank you

9-4-20 Tiny black Kitten with prolapsed anus

my sister and I heard a kitten meowing underneath a car in my moms apartment we were thankfully able to capture him, I believe it’s a boy. He’s hasn’t stopped meowing, we fed him wet food and he pooped but I noticed his anus doesn’t look right, I’m not sure if he may have a prolapsed anus. I’m not able to keep him unfortunately I already have 6 cats of my own, one that has strivite crystals in his bladder and another cat they may require eye surgery I barely have enough for their medical needs I cannot afford another. Is there anybody out there can help this little black panther? And take him in as their own or at least temporarily  **UPDATE** 🆘update🆘 we’ve named him Tobi vet says he’s about 4 weeks old, they want us to take him when he’s about 6/7 weeks to administer flea medication since he’s too little now, vet had told me he doesn’t have a prolapsed anus, turns out he has worms and had mention that when they push they sometimes push too hard and make the anus come out a little bit but they gave him deworming strongid and droncit to take care of the worms. A huge thank you to the The Dollar Club, helpings animals one dollar at a time. My sister and I wouldn’t have been able to take him in without their kind service and donation so thank you guys so much! (Picture of receipt in the photos) we’re still in need of a rescue or a loving home for this little cutie!

9-7-20  Martha - hurt chick being abused by humans

Ahimsa Safe Haven: Martha is a baby Cornish Cross (“broiler”/meat bird) rooster who arrived late last night. He is unable to balance or walk, and has some difficulty even standing. His body is covered in scabs because he was found on the sidewalk being poked by people with sticks. He was initially taken in by a cat rescue, who then got him to a chicken rescuer who got him to the vet. The vet was unable to find anything wrong with him but prescribed antibiotics and we suspect malnutrition. Last night he was brought to me, and we will keep up on his antibiotic and monitor him closely to make sure he is progressing as he should! Fingers crossed he improves with his current regimen, and will be able to live a long and healthy life here. We got you, little buddy! Please welcome Martha to our crew. ❤️ He doesn’t do much besides sit and eat and poop, right now, but honestly what we REALLY need is a chick heater.

9-8-20 Hera - sick dog with rare bacterial infection

We are seeking help with our 1-year-old pup who is fighting a deadly fungal infection called Blastomycosis. I rescued Hera from a rural shelter in Estill County after she was labeled urgent due to space and being blind. When I picked her up from the shelter, I immediately knew something was seriously wrong. I feared she was going to pass on me overnight and no vet would see her urgently and dismissed her “condition” as being blind. Long story short, I finally found a vet who had seen and was familiar Blastomycosis, a deadly fungal infection that caused Hera to be blind, not be able to breath, and have a lame leg. She was so urgent that they discussed euthanasia. I knew she wanted to fight, and she did so while in an oxygen tank for 4 days. 2 months later, Hera’s Blasto/fungal Levels are still high (14/14.7), but she’s alive and her levels were originally off the charts. Hera has an outstanding balance of 11K and we still aren’t done treating her yet. We could use any and all the help we could get to help her best Blasto and live the long healthy life she deserves

9-15-20 Cat hit by car

Wags To Whiskers was at the shelter to pick up another kitty. When an distraught elderly couple walked in with Tuffy to surrender him. He got outside and came back hurt like this. It is believed he was run over by a car. His owners were very hurt and upset they had to surrender him, because they couldn't afford his care. And didn't want him to suffer. The elderly man explained to Teri, that he himself had bottle fed this sweet boy. And he is their baby. So they surrendered him. And then Teri explained that she would take him right away. And get him to our Vet. The elderly woman then cried again, saying he is going to be ok, he's going to be ok! We are so glad to be helping this sweet soul.  **UPDATE** VILLAGE TUFFY HAS A DEGLOVED JAW AND MOST OF HIS TEETH BROKEN 💔 HE IS AT NEIGHBORHOOD VETERINARY CENTERS-GROVES WITH DR Brady Hanson. SO FUNDS ARE NEEDED DESPERATELY.  He will go back to his owners once he is recovered with the promise that they keep him indie from now on.

9-20-20  Bean - kitten shot

Happy Hearts & Tails Safe Haven Animal Rescue:  Someone SHOT this less than 3lb kitten. Shot him. It's been an exhausting three days. I am spent. Mentally, physically and emotionally.
I spent two days trying to get this lil injured baby. Finally, I was able to net him last night around 11:15 p.m. Once I secured the baby, I called Dr. Kathio and he told me to bring him to Pittston, he was in the office, I got there about 12 a.m......Once I saw this prolapse, I knew it was not good. I've dealt with a rectal prolapse before but this was the worst. I didn't know if it could be fixed.
Well. Dr said he could fix it and he did. Because he is a feral kitten, we can't handle him. (For now) So he wanted to keep him overnight. He gave him a few injections because we can't do oral antibiotics. I am okay with that because we need to be sure the repaired prolapse stays in place. Once he repaired it he wanted to do an Xray. He suspected a trauma of some kind. He thought maybe he was hit by a car. He was not. He was shot. Someone put a pellet into this less than 3lb. lil baby. A pellet. I just have no words. I left Kathios about 1:30 a.m. and just cried all the way home. Why. How can anyone shoot a baby kitten, or any kitty. What have they done that is so horrible? Try to survive in this horrible world. I can't fathom this. I just can't. If you can shoot an innocent 2.5 lb. Kitten there is something wrong with you. I will talk with Dr. this afternoon. And will update. I will not be releasing Bean. I just can't put him back there. He is not social but we can work on that. Yes a tiny Bean Thanks Dr for taking this baby at midnight and helping him. **If you can help with Beans bill/care it would be appreciated. I am going to try to work with him.

9-21-20  Chance  -  dog needs surgery

Chance is our 4 yr old rescue fur baby. We got him when he was about 7 months old. He was neglected and left to wander the streets alone. He was emaciated, had mange, hookworms, and heartworms. It took six months to get him back to health. At 2 yrs old he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, which was directly connected to his malnutrition when he was younger. Last month he had a major "flare up" of his hip dysplasia causing him to walk awkwardly on his left hind leg. He has torn his c.c.l. in his left hind leg and now needs a knee operation. We've gone to different vets and a specialist and they all confirm a TPLO knee surgery is his best option to be able to use his leg more and be pain free! Chance is such a loving dog! All the vets and vet technicians fall in love with him almost instantly. It tears us up to have our baby boy go though all this. He has many more years of life in him he just need this operation to make it a quality and pain free life. Any size donation is more than welcome, $5 $10, whatever you can spare will be appreciated. Even if you cannot donate please share this posting so we can help get our boy healthy again.

9-21-20 Capone - dog with obstruction

Medical Urgent- Capone needs medical attention ASAP! Capone is a 6 year old pittie mix whose owner reached out for help because she cannot afford the expensive medical care he needs for what seems to be an obstruction. Only 3 months ago, Capone had surgery for an obstruction after eating a sock. While his family tried so hard to keep himself, he seems to have come across something else and seems to be obstructed again. The owner noticed he seemed to be lethargic and wasn't eating or drinking a few days ago, but he perked up and seemed to be turning the corner. However in the past day or he took a turn for the worse and is now vomiting and has lost weight. He urgently needs medical care if he's going to survive. Capone's family would love to keep him if help were to be found, but they are also willing to let him go if that is what they need to do to save his life. After paying for his last surgery, they just don't have the money to do it again. They are willing to make payments, but have not found an office or card that will work with them, and they have researched extensively.

9-30-20  Billie Jean - Needs vet for tumor and infection

Hi, i usually wouldnt do this but the circumstances are bad. I do trap neuter release on staten island, NY. As i was doing a TNR project and taking a walk around a neighborhood looking for feeders, I stumbled upon a cat on some guy’s lawn. I knocked on his door and got to talking. This was a while ago. She’s an indoor/outdoor. He called me frantic recently saying his cats ears are terrible and that he smells an awful smell coming from her. He’s disabled, single, lives on SS. He’s asked me to take her to the vet and i said yes- on the terms that she strictly stays indoors from now on. Turns out she’s 10+ years old, needs a dental, and has a tumor taken in her head/ear. Due to the fact of how costly this is (probably $2,000 after biopsy, hospital stays, surgery, etc) & the owner wont be paying for it, I need major help. Her name is Billie Jean. A rescue put me on their account so i could get the rescue rate, but i refuse to let them pay for it out of pocket. I cant put them through that when i know they are on financial hard times themselves.
